Flat to dry. Place your pleats on a dry towel, roll the towel and carefully press out excessive water. Lay your garment flat on the towel to dry if you don't have a drying rack.
Allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
A handheld steamer is a gentle way to remove wrinkles from pleated fabric. Keep the steamer nozzle at a slight distance from the fabric to avoid flattening the pleats.
If ironing is necessary, use a low to medium heat setting and a pressing cloth to protect the pleats. Always iron on the wrong side of the fabric.
Avoid hanging, fold your pleats to maintain their shape.
